Problem:

We installed a new beautiful kitchen island on a project.  When we attempted to install the customer purchased cabinet and drawer pulls, we had a bit of trouble lining up the holes perfectly for the hardware to fit.

Solution:

We worked closely with the cabinet installer and our carpenter to adjust the drilled holes enough to make the hardware fit and ensure that it was level and plumb.  There’s a term that I like to use called “waller” out the hole to make it fit.  This means to take your drill bit and twist it just enough to enlarge the hardware holes do you have some room to work with the pulls.  If you do it right, it works like a charm with no visible damages to the cabinets.
