Problem:

A client was concerned with a couple of buckling areas in their newly installed hardwood floors.  I reviewed the areas with the homeowners and determined we needed the hardwood floor guy to take a look.  It was impossible to tell if the problem was hardwood floor swelling or an obstruction under the floors.

Solution:

I contacted the owner of the hardwood flooring company to schedule a jobsite review.  He looked at the floors with me and we determined that the sanding machines should be able to smooth out the buckled areas.  Indeed, once the sanders did their work, the floors turned out smooth and beautiful (a barrel sander ultimately did the job).
